I've done some research over the last few days and as far I can tell, the Nimbie unit along with a Windows 8 only, dBpower amp is about as automated as one can get. This hybrid solution has to sustain me and many music listeners as we transition to the new normal- streaming. What want is the local file and streaming file playback, call it a hybrid solution. I never want to re rip my library ever again, but as I accumulate CDs in the time of TIDAL streaming I can see the light at the end of the tunnel-which is 100% streaming. I never want to spend more time managing then listening*. I spend a great deal of time curating my own digital library and everything has to be in it's place. You know the deal- Ripping is very labor intensive, beyond that getting the right metadata or the details about a song, album, cover art,etc is a nightmare.
